Installing Socket-CAN driver on Fedora 18

armando
Hi,

I am trying to install the Socket-CAN driver on Fedora but I can't get it working. I am not a specialist on kernel//module building and configuration. I've just checked out the trunk (and the release) versions from the server (svn checkout svn://svn.berlios.de/socketcan/trunk) and I cannot compile it, I am following the README but it is not working.

Among the errors I have, right now I have the following error when i try to make:
---------------------------------------
[ me@host 2.6]$ sudo make KERNELDIR=/usr/src/kernels/3.8.11-200.fc18.x86_64
...
.. rel-2.0.0-pre7/kernel/2.6/net/can/af_can.c:46:28: fatal error: linux/autoconf.h: No such file or directory
...
---------------------------------------

I am trying also on Ubuntu (just for testing) and it is working fine (I guess it comes with the Kernel already), the problems is that I must have it running o Fedora.

Anybody here managed to have it working on any Fedora release?

Thanks

Now I get:

... berlios/trunk/kernel/2.6/drivers/net/can/slcan.c:46:24: fatal error: asm/system.h: No such file or directory
